I chose Mount A because...

When I came for my campus tour, I absolutely fell in love with our beautiful campus and I loved how I was able to build and customize my degree to fit my needs and interests! Mount A is a truly unique university in the best way possible and I have not regretted my decision to come here once in the three years I’ve been here! I also chose Mount A for the small class sizes which definitely makes a huge difference in your learning experience in many different ways such as getting to know your professors and more interactive classes

Advice I would give to incoming students...

Is to really make an attempt to step out of your comfort zone. University will be some of the best years of your life and it’s up to you to make the most of it! Mount A offers so many clubs and sports to join and the residence executive teams plan lots of events throughout the year for you to enjoy and to meet new friends! I really recommend getting involved as much as you can so you can fully take advantage of all that Mount A has to offer!

Favourite Mount A memory (so far)...

Would have to be all three Orientation Weeks that I have experienced so far. I love to meet new students and all the events throughout the week are so much fun that it’s really the happiest week of the year! I have looked forward to it every year since I’ve been here and I know it’s many other students favourite week because it’s where you’ll meet so many friends and make lots of memories!

How have I changed since coming to Mount A...

In high school, I probably would have been regarded as an introvert who only had a few close friends and didn’t really do much outside of school. Since coming to Mount A, I have gained so much confidence in myself, I’m much more extroverted and have made so many great friends here. I came here knowing almost no one from home so I really had to put myself out there which was terrifying at first no doubt, but it has changed my life and I am a better person because of it and because of Mount A!
