Favourite Mount A memory (so far)...

Winning the ACAA basketball championship game against our rival team when I was in first year. There was a huge crowd supporting us that drove from Sackville to Truro to come support us and the atmosphere was incredible.

I chose Mount A because...

I chose to come to MtA because of its small size and the sense of community I felt on campus. I also wanted to go to a smaller school where I would feel like I was more than just a number, and not feel drowned out in a lecture of 500 people. I asked a lot of alumni about their experience here, and all I got were positive responses and fond memories, which also really pushed me to choose MtA!

Advice I would give to incoming students...

Don't worry about finding your place right away! It may seem like everyone immediately finds their closest friends during orientation week, but in reality it takes many people weeks or even months to find their groove. Be patient and don't put too much pressure on yourself!
