Advice I would give to incoming students...

Join a club or society that is new to you. Moving away from home can be lonely so expanding your interests is a great way to become part of the MtA community while also connecting with new people.

I chose Mount A because...

Of their reputation for being the #1 undergraduate school in Canada and promise to provide a high quality education on a smaller scale. Additionally, I fell in love with their beautiful campus and their small, yet diverse community.

Favourite Mount A memory (so far)...

Travelling to Montreal, Quebec with the Model UN Team for a conference hosted by McGill was a big unexpected highlight from my first year. Although I had no prior experience in Model UN, the executive team was incredibly welcoming and I learned so much about foreign policy!

How have I changed since coming to Mount A...

I developed many new interests and passions and met so many individuals who helped me grow both academically and as a person. Moving away from home and to Mount Allison forces you to become independent while still having the support of your peers, professors and faculty.
