I chose Mount A because...

I wanted to pursue a liberal arts education at a smaller school. I did not know what I wanted to study before coming here, so the flexibility that a liberals arts degree provided was important to me. I also wanted to visit the Maritimes, and connect with my paternal family.

Favourite Mount A memory (so far)...

We have a very old building on campus called Hart Hall, which is rumoured to be haunted. While in residence, our house executive organized a nighttime tour of Hart Hall with a staff member from Facilities Management, and it was so. much. FUN! And spooky.

My favourite thing to do in Sackville is...

Go for a walk around Waterfowl Park, or to go out to eat at one of the many cafes and restaurants in town. It’s a great way to relax and to take a step back from all of the hustle and bustle of school.

Advice I would give to incoming students...

Get to know your professors. They're so eager to meet their students, talk about course material, and offer advice. They will say hello to you on campus, and know to look out for you in class to see whether or not you're grasping the lecture material.
