How have I changed since coming to Mount A...

I’ve come out of my shell a lot since coming to university, I’m much more extroverted and open than I used to be! Coming to university is so freeing, Mount A is a very safe and accepting space to figure out who you want to be!

Advice I would give to incoming students...

Be the first one to say hi, sign up for a club, initiate a walk downtown or a walk around campus to find your classes. It seems scary, but everyone is in a new place looking for friends and waiting for someone to make the first move! I messaged two people in my residence the summer before my first year, and they are now my best friends!

Favourite Mount A memory (so far)...

The BBQ dance off during orientation, carving pumpkins in the lounge, and Spirit Night are some of my favourite memories from Mount A so far!
