Being a part of International Orientation in my first year and as a facilitator for new international students this year!

How have I changed since coming to Mount A...

I have become more open minded and willing to try new things. I have also improved my time management skills and being able to learn new about cultures and share stories with people from all around the world!

Advice I would give to incoming students...

Stay connected! University can sometimes be stressful and MtA has so much to offer through different resources on campus which are willing to help you whether if it’s about academics, mental health or social relationships. Using these resources are extremely beneficial in your stay in MtA and most importantly make sure you take time for yourself for selfcare whether if it’s taking 30 minutes out of your day to relax in the Zen-den or to just sleep!

My favourite thing to do in Sackville is...

There's so many fun things to do in Sackville! I love to walk around downtown with friends and stop by beautiful shops like Blooms and Tidewater Books & Browsery then walk over to Mel’s tearoom, grab a milkshake and watch a movie at Vogue cinema. I also enjoy doing thrift flips from items in the Salvation Army with friends on a day in.
