Walk! No more than a 10-15 minute walk from anywhere in town leads me to all of Sackville's wonderful amenities, including Vogue Cinema, Blooms Flowershop, and the picturesque Waterfowl Park.
Buy a paper agenda! I use my agenda to keep track of my assignment deadlines, test dates, extracurricular activities and meetings, and all of the awesome events happening on and around campus. With university life comes a busy schedule, making it easy to forget things. My agenda helps me stay organized without the potential distractions associated with the calendar on my phone.
In addition to its prestigious reputation and high caliber of education, it fosters community amongst its students, faculty, and staff. The most distinguishing attribute of Mount A when compared to other universities is its strong sense of community and belonging felt by every individual on campus. Not only do I feel at home here, but I have been given the opportunity to build meaningful relationships with both my peers and professors.
The most significant difference between the high school and current versions of me is my developed sense of self. Mount A has encouraged me to consider my existing interests in depth while exploring diverse new things in a supportive environment. Throughout this process I have gained a better understanding of society and the role I play within it. Ultimately, Mount A has encouraged me to grow into a better version of myself, enabling me to contribute more fully to the world around me.
