My favourite thing to do in Sackville is...

is working in one of the multiple cute little cafes in town. They are all so warm, inviting, and refreshing changes of scenery when trying to get work done. They also all have great food and completely different vibes allowing me to pick which one best suits my needs each day. I also really enjoy going to the movies at the Vogue Cinema, it’s such a cute theatre, tends to have interesting movies, and is really great when I need to get my mind off of school.

Favourite Mount A memory (so far)...

is performing with the Mount Allison dance team at the varsity football homecoming game. I have met so many cool people and made so many close friends on the team and so, dancing with them to fun songs in front of an energetic crowd has definitely been the highlight experience for me.

How have I changed since coming to Mount A...

I have become more open and aware to the different life experiences of others. This helped me have a greater understanding of the world and life beyond my youthful teenage years making me realize I still have a lot to learn, even outside of academics and made me excited to learn it. I have also been able to find my identity because I didn’t really have my own before coming here. Mount A provided me with such a safe and comfortable space that I was finally able to explore what I truly have interest in and am passionate about and find who I am as an individual.
