Campus Ambassador at Mount Allison University
Class of 2025
Hometown: Nova Scotia, Canada
Major: Biology
Minor: Chemistry
I have gotten so much more involved in school/campus life since coming to Mount Allison! There are so many opportunities to get involved on campus, and it's a great way to make friends. There is something for everyone, from rotary to tabletop club. And the great thing is, you can start your own club or society too!
My favorite thing to do in Sackville is walking in Waterfowl park. Its a protected wetland area right next to campus. It has a couple of very nice walking trails, and is home to a lot of cool plant and animal species. I also love exploring the local town, there are so many cute cafes, and each has their own specialty! I highly recommend the everything sandwich at Aidas, or one of Cranewoods delicious soups.
I chose Mount Allison because the school values you as an individual. It's a small school, and you really are a name, not a number. My professors know me, and the class sizes are smaller than a lot of other schools. This makes it easy to reach out for help and get the support you need!
Don’t be afraid to reach out! I know it can be intimidating, but there's a ton of support and resources available. Whether it's writing a paper, starting a club or society or just generally have questions, there is someone who has the answers! The faculty and community here at Mount Allison want you to succeed!
