put yourself out there right away! University can be a bit overwhelming with all of the new people and experiences. I recommend that you try new things, meet new people and put yourself out there from the very beginning. It's easier to dial back your involvement later, but harder to jump into new things halfway into a semester.
Emma graduated from Mount Allison in 2018, and has since moved to Fredericton, NB where she earned her Chartered Professional Accountant (CPA) designation and works for the Office of the Auditor General of NB. In her spare time she can be most often found at the gym, curled up at home with a good book, or in the kitchen baking cookies for her co-workers. She loved her time at MtA and is looking forward to chatting with you!
There are too many good memories from my time at Mount A to count. A few highlights include performing on stage in the annual Garnet & Gold musicals, late night trips to meal hall to eat ice cream, walks in waterfowl park and volunteering for orientation week.
