I am currently a medical student at the Dalhousie Medicine New Brunswick campus in Saint John, NB. Prior to entering medical school, I completed an undergraduate honours degree in biology with minors in biochemistry and psychology here at Mount A! During my undergraduate degree, I worked as a student research assistant at the Atlantic Cancer Research Institute in Moncton where I studied the genetics of pancreatic cancer. I was fortunate enough to continue this project for my honours thesis as well! I am also a first-generation and an English second language student.
