How have I changed since coming to Mount A...

I've grown a lot since coming to Mount A. I've discovered who I really am in leaving my hometown and have discovered new passions and interests that I never knew I had (such as law and photography). I've also learned so much from the people I've met here, as there are students from all over the world that come to this school. I've become more authentic and confident in who I am and of what I want to do in life.

Advice I would give to incoming students...

Really be your true self. Take part in the activities you like, dress the way you want and enter the program that you are passionate about. Diversity is celebrated at Mount A, and you will be accepted as you are.

My favourite thing to do in Sackville is...

Visit the fun coffee shops. Sackville has a variety of restaurants and cafes that are great for socializing and studying at. Each one is different, so you're bound to find a place that you love going to on a regular basis.

Favourite Mount A memory (so far)...

Last year's Elephant in the Room event. Put on by Change your Mind, this event allows students to open about their own mental health struggles among a supportive group of listeners. It was quiet freeing to be able to talk about my own story, one that I was afraid to bring up for years. It was an enriching and eye-opening experience that I will never forget.
