Hi future Mountie! We’re so happy you’re visiting our blog. 

First, we’ll introduce ourselves! Our names are Amy Thompson and Lucy Poole, and we’re both MtA students heading into our third years studying Psychology & Biology (Amy) and Economics & French (Lucy). Coming from PEI and Nova Scotia, we weren’t moving too far to come to university, but still dealt with all of the exciting, scary, and overwhelming moments that come with moving away from home for the first time and transitioning into university life. We wanted to create a blog that would help students who are experiencing these same things feel more reassured and informed about life as a MtA student - and that’s how Mounties in the Making came to be!

We hope our blog will be an informative and fun resource for students who are just getting started on their own university adventures. Our student bloggers have been through it all before you and are sharing their own stories to help make your university experience the best it can possibly be. So - browse through some blog posts, take in as much as you can, and get excited about all of the possibilities that lie ahead of you!
