Top 5 Drinks to Try in Sackville

There is nothing I enjoy more than a good beverage, whether it be hot or cold. With everything located close by you can grab any drink only a few minutes away. Here are five of my favorite drinks to enjoy in Sackville:
Mel’s Tearoom Milkshakes
There are so many different flavors to choose from and the best part is that you can combine them. My favorite is chocolate orange with peanut butter and whipped cream on the top. Mel’s is a gem, and they serve it right out of the classic shake cup!
Black Duck Café
Like many others, I was so sad when Black Duck closed last spring, but now that they are reopened, I recommend grabbing a Salted Caramel Latte. It comes with whipped cream, though I like to get it made with oat milk which adds so much extra flavor! Also, a great alternative if you are lactose intolerant!
Aida’s Café
Aida’s has a lot of great drinks including their cold refreshers. Though, my favorite is their Caramel Macchiato latte made with almond milk. The strong espresso taste is complimented by the sweet caramel and gives you a great caffeine boost, plus you can get it over ice!
Cranewood on Main
Everybody loves a good cold brew and Cranewood is the place to get it. You can add flavored shots as well as almond and oat creamer. My favorite combo is a shot of caramel with almond milk, a great drink to grab on your way to the lib.
Bagtown Brewery
One of my favorite drinks to grab from Bagtown is their blueberry soda. It is not produced very often but it tastes just like a blueberry pie. Highly recommend on a hot day!
After four years here in the Sack I am sure going to miss all these treats when I leave. I hope you can discover your favorites too!
