Hi there, I’m Danielle, your 2021 University Orientation Chair, and in case it wasn’t obvious, I’m pretty excited for Orientation week.  

With Orientation and the fall semester quickly approaching, I’m working hard to prepare for your O-week and I bet you’re feeling busy, too! You might be starting to register for courses, planning your packing list, daydreaming of Sackville garlic fingers (they really are the best), and the list goes on – but did you know that you can also register for Orientation week 2021 TODAY!? So, folks, here it goes: welcome to your elevator pitch of five reasons why you should register for Orientation TODAY! 

1. It’s SO easy 

Nope, nothing too complicated here! Registration is set up to only ask you quick and easy questions and should take about 5 minutes to complete. 

2. You can pick your t-shirt size 

Who doesn’t love a new t-shirt!? You definitely want to get yours and make sure it fits! Registering for Orientation helps us ensure you get the right shirt that you can rock all week long. 

3. It helps me out (a lot!) 

By registering early, you help my team and me better prepare for Orientation 2021. You can provide us with useful information about your fall plans, swag orders, as well as accessibility and other support needs that help us tremendously! Ultimately, help us help you! 

4. Check an item off your to-do list – it feels good to be productive 

Come on, we all write things on our to-do list that just never get checked off. Well, get that sweet serotonin boost of checking off this easy item by registering for Orientation ASAP! 

5. It means you’re one step closer to beginning your life at MtA! 

The earlier you register, the earlier we can connect you with your peers, Orientation leaders, support teams, and so much more. Get the jump start on life at MtA – we’re so excited for you to join us!
